New helicopter was presented to President

Within the framework of his working trip to Kyiv region President Viktor Yushchenko visited in Borodyanka village “TUSSE” aircraft works where he was shown a new light multi-purpose helicopter KT-112 “Cadet”. President's press office reports.

In his interview with mass media President noted great potential of the helicopter he had seen. “I am assured that this aircraft is the one to provide future for Ukrainian helicopter-building,” he said adding that representatives from different ministries and bodies, who accompanied Viktor Yushchenko in his visit to the works were invited with the purpose of investigating their interest in the helicopter presented.

In his visit to the works President was accompanied by Internal Minister Yuriy Lutsenko, Defense Minister Yuriy Yekhanurov, Minister for Emergencies Vadym Shandra, acting Head of Security Service Valentyn Nalyvaichenko, other officials.
