UEFA satisfied with Ukraine’s preparation to Euro-2012

UEFA experts finished the inspection of Euro-2012 objects in

Ukraine

last week and noted improvement.

“Summer season was very fruitful, and I wish you to keep the rate for further progress in preparation to Euro-2012,” UEFA expert Juergen Mueller said.

In the report the experts also pointed out the role of the state, which took airport issues under control, as well as participation of local authorities, who confirmed the guarantees regarding transport infrastructure and gave details of the construction.

As for accommodation for fans and participants of the championship, the state guarantees on hotel rooms have been increased from 20 to 30 thousand, Mueller noted.

The final decision on the place of holding European football championship will be made September 23-24 during the congress in Bordeaux.
