Russia to react to NATO's presence in Black Sea

Russia is poised to take action due to the presence of NATO's ships in the Black Sea, Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin told journalists in Tashkent today.

He pointed out that if NATO wanted to provide humanitarian aid, it had to be provided to the people of South Ossetia, as they needed it the most.

Therefore, Putin noted that the purpose of the ships' presence near Georgia was unclear.

Furthermore, the PM indicated that it was unclear why humanitarian aid was supplied on warships carrying state-of-art missile systems.
