Ukraine names its price for gas

“Taking into account the agreements achieved during the meeting between Ukraine’s and Russia’s president in February of the last year, the economically grounded prices for gas is between $192.6 and $218 (with transit tariff of $2.47) for ths cu m in the first quarter of 2009,” Sokolovski said.

As a reminder, Gazprom stated that after Ukraine’s refusal to accept special price of 250 USD it is going to supply gas at the market price of 450 USD.
