Tymoshenko sees no grounds to reconsider the state budget

The Government has overfulfilled the 2009 State Budget’s yield for January and there are no grounds to revise it, Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko told a briefing today, Cabinet's press office reported.

According to the Prime Minister, the State Budget tax revenues of the total fund are overfulfilled in January, and the Pension Fund revenues overfulfilled by 22%, in particular. “The Budget will be revised only if there are grounds for it: if the budget is overfulfilled or underfulfilled,” Yulia Tymoshenko stressed.

The Head of Government also stressed that country faces no problems with social payments. She urged the politicians not to speculate in this subject and not to destabilize the situation: “Don’t speculate in a scrape of Ukraine which fell into the global financial crisis and don’t maraud in it”.

Yulia Tymoshenko noted that despite all confrontations the Government would do its best and hold clear stable position required in this difficult crisis situation”.
