Yulia Tymoshenko: Eurointegration remain a strategic policy of Ukraine

Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko declares integration of Ukraine to the European Union is and always has been a strategic policy. Tymoshenko said during a joint briefing with Vice President of the European Commission Günter Verheugen.

“The Government of Ukraine will pay every effort to carry out the whole complex of reforms which open  a way towards European integration for Ukraine,” Yulia Tymoshenko accentuated.

In his turn, Günter Verheugen stressed the European Union is open for all the European states, striving to become its member. “All the European nations who aspire to join and meet the determined requirements can accede the EU – this is what our open door policy is about,” he said.
