World Health Organization to work in Ukraine for two weeks


A mission of the World Health Organization is planning to work in Ukraine during two weeks in order to evaluate the epidemic situation. The WHO will determine the nature of the infection, and outline practical recommendations concerning Ukraine's specific demand for vaccines, individual hygiene means, antivirus preparations, equipment for intensive therapy, and other types of medical devices to combat the flu.

The main objectives of the mission are also to work out practical recommendations for the use of the humanitarian aid opportunities in order to cut the number of lethal cases, slow down the pace of the epidemic spread, and guarantee effective protection of medicos.
